Conditions worth knowing
- New Jersey has no single statewide heat pump rebate. NJCEP sets the framework and the state's seven investor-owned electric and gas utilities run the programs, so what you can claim depends on who serves your address.
- The current cycle, Triennium 2, was approved by the Board on October 30, 2024 and has been available since January 1, 2025. Each utility's terms are set by its own Board Order.
- Some utilities additionally offer building decarbonisation and demand response programs.
- Comfort Partners is a separate free program for income-eligible customers rather than a rebate.
